Message from the Mayor
Experience a Healthy Downey with me in 2013! We can make a difference in our community by living a healthy, active lifestyle...Both as a City and personally. Figuratively and as individuals. We can educate and lead healthy lives by eating better, exercising more and making our City a model of healthy urban living. From fiscal responsibility to education, we can make a difference for our future. From our Seniors to our youth we will work toward a Healthier Downey. Let’s change, let’s move and live a longer and healthier life..Join me in the challenge! Let’s Get Moving toward a Healthy Downey!
Dn. Mario A. Guerra
Healthy Downey is a community collaborative that focuses on health and nutrition, creating a sustainable approach to wellness that will positively impact current and future generations through forming partnerships with committed community stakeholders.
