The City of Downey and the Downey Community Development Commission administer two redevelopment project areas.  The Downey Redevelopment Project Area contains mostly commercially-zoned land located throughout the east-west Firestone Boulevard corridor.  The Woodruff Redevelopment Project Area is comprised of mostly manufacturing land uses clustered just south of Firestone Boulevard along Woodruff Avenue.  For maps of these project areas, use the Redevelopment Areas link at the left.
