California Manufacturing Technology Center (CMTC)

The California Manufacturing Technology Center (CMTC) is a non-profit organization that provides manufacturing companies with engineers and technologists who provide service products for smaller manufacturers.  This includes capital equipment selecting planning, process improvements, marketing/sales lead generation and facility layout.

California Office of Small Business

The California Office of Small Business offers a variety of programs and services to small business owners and entrepreneurs starting, buying or expanding their operations.  They administer five financial assistance programs -- with their Loan Guarantee Program assisting small businesses with guarantees up to $350,000 for those unable to qualify for bank loans.

Downey Chamber of Commerce

The Downey Chamber of Commerce actively supports businesses in the community.  Services include business mixers, workshops, seminars and business grand opening ribbon cuttings.  Their monthly newspaper, Downey Business, contains business and civic news plus Chamber activities and member spotlight articles.
