Public Comments for Transition Plan Amendment

The City of Downey has completed its ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. The City of Downey is considering certain amendments to the Transition Plan and asks for public review and comment by interested persons, including individuals with disabilities and organizations representing individuals with disabilities. Public comments on the City's proposed amendment to its Transition Plan may be submitted in writing, by email or by telephone to the City's ADA/Section 504 Coordinator by no later than Friday, June 8, 2018. The proposed amendment to the Transition Plan may be obtained from the Downey City Clerk’s Office, the Downey City Library and the Barbara J. Riley Center.

The City of Downey has adopted a formal complaint and grievance policy and grievance form for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging concerns, complaints or requests for access to City programs.
