The Planning Division is responsible for reviewing proposed development for compliance with the City's Zoning Ordinance and General Plan. The Department is responsible for issuing use permits, processing entitlement applications, updating on the General Plan elements, and preparing long range planning and policy documents.  You will find a variety of information relating to on-going developments in the City and updates on current and future projects, such as, residential developments, industrial business parks and/or commercial centers.  Also available are the various planning documents and forms you may need to file for various projects.  In addition, other related documents will also be available such as zoning brochures and starting a business information, etc.
