We are committed to providing prompt and professional investigative service. Our goal is to solve and reduce crimes in order to preserve a safe environment for our community. Our investigators work closely with other law enforcement agencies, community groups and our local schools to ensure the highest level of service through a coordination of efforts.

The Investigations Division investigates a wide variety of crimes. Our investigators receive specialized training in their area of assignment as well as cross training in other areas. Investigators coordinate the on-scene investigations of major crimes, assist in the initial investigation of crimes that require their expertise or are sensitive in nature, and conduct follow-up on all crime reports initiated by patrol officers.
