Facility Rentals
Banquet and Meeting Rooms at the Barbara J. Riley Community Center

Reservations for the banquet and meeting rooms at the Barbara J. Riley Community Center are available to Downey residents and non-residents.  Beginning July 1, 2012 there will be a non-resident fee added to all of our facility rentals. For more information, call the Barbara J. Additional Fees for Facility Attendants and Security Monitor

$30/Hr for security monitor for parties of 100 or more.
$30/Hr for staff anytime after business hours when renting the Auditorium.
$15/Hr for staff anytime after business hours when renting other rooms.

A minimum of (2) two attendants are required after 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; Saturday after 2:00 PM; and all day Sunday. 

Business hours:  Monday and Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Beginning July 1, 2012 BJR will close at 5:00 on Fridays)
                                Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday  8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
                                Saturday  10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
                                Sunday we are closed.
