||Family Story Night|
Share the joy of reading with your children. Join us once a month for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun. Make one night a month Family Night at the Downey City Library. Our program is for individual children ages 3 to 7 years old and their parents/caregivers (no groups or schools, please).
||Preschool Story Time|
It is never too early to introduce your children to books. Reading is a magical experience and Story Time is a great start. The stories and activities encourage a love of books and promote the library as an enjoyable place for the entire family. Join us every Tuesday morning for stories, songs, and fun. This program is for children ages 3 to 5 years old and their parents/caregivers (no groups, please). Free event. Due to the disruption caused by late-comers, no one will be admitted after 10:30 a.m.

Join us for baby and toddler reading and listening fun with stories, rhymes, songs, and finger plays. We will share Eric Carle's The Very Ready Reading Program for children from birth to 24 months. Experience his 7 Days - 7 Ways philosophy of re-reading fund with your babies and toddlers. Our program is for individual children ages 0 to 2 years old and their parents/caregivers (no groups or schools, please). There will be no Story Time on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Free event.
