Computers are available during library hours. A library card is required. Reservations are made in the computer lab, though a reservation is not needed if a computer is available immediately. Sixteen computers are located in the Computer Lab, directly across from the main entrance. Each computer is available to use for one hour per day. Programs include:

LaserJet printing is available for 15¢ a page with a print card.

A 10-minute Express workstation is set up for patrons who wish to check their e-mail or quickly update and/or print files. Temporary library cards are available for out-of-state patrons with a picture ID.

The Downey City Library now offers free WiFi during library hours.
