Downey's newest commercial retail center is Downey Landing. It is home to a wide variety of businesses including shops, restaurants and offices. The center has 3 major restaurants and a casual dining food court serving a range of cuisine.

Downtown

Downey is home to a wide variety of businesses including shops, restaurants and offices. The area is currently experiencing a renaissance after the opening of a stunning 10-screen Krikorian Theatre Complex and adjacent parking structure. Banners calling to "Celebrate Downtown Downey" have been installed to brighten up and add instant excitement to the area.

Downtown is also home to over 20 restaurants serving a range of cuisine from Japanese and Italian to Mediterranean and Mexican. Other highlights of the area include the Civic Center, Downey Theatre, Embassy Suites Hotel and several major office buildings.

The West Firestone retail district is home to one of the largest concentration of home improvement stores in the country. In the retail district are All American Home Center, Home Depot, Office Max, Party City, and Carl's Jr.
All American is a privately owned, 175,000sf home improvement center that originally opened in 1959. Today they host an array of quality products and provide an exceptional service to its vistors.
The Home Depot opened in 1996. The company is one of the fastest growing in the United States and has quickly become a popular destination for shoppers in mid-cities area. The center also features Office Max and Party City.

The Crossroads

This is a popular shopping area for the northern Downey area. It is anchored by Vons Grocery and Sav-On Drugs.
