Voter Registration Information
To be eligible to vote in California you must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the election
- Be a resident of the State of California
- Not be in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony
Register to Vote or visit the Downey City Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to obtain a voter registration form. Persons 17 years of age may pre-register to vote.
