Accela Citizen Access Portal.

Building inspections may be requested Monday through Friday from 7:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. for next day inspections, excluding weekends. If the inspection is requested after 3:00 p.m., the inspection will be scheduled on the second business day.

You can request a building inspection using our Accela Citizen Access (ACA) portal

Business License Inspections

Inspections for Business Licenses may be scheduled at the Building and Safety Division counter or by phone at (562) 904-7142. These types of inspections require the business to be ready to open, with all furniture and fixtures set in place.

Please provide the following information:

• Your assigned BUS-XX-XXXXX number
• Business Address
• Contact name and phone number
