Banquet & Meeting Rooms at the Barbara J. Riley Community Center

Reservations for the banquet and meeting rooms at the Barbara J. Riley Community Center are available to Downey residents and non-residents. Beginning July 1, 2012 there will be a non-resident fee added to all of our facility rentals. For more information, call the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm at (562) 904-7223 or complete and submit a Reservation Application. View Policies and Procedures.

Hours

  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Sundays and Holidays: Closed

Additional Fees for Facility Attendants & Security Monitor

  • $30/Hr for security monitor for parties of 100 or more.
  • $30/Hr for staff anytime after business hours when renting the Auditorium.
  • $15/Hr for staff anytime after business hours when renting other rooms.

A minimum of (2) two attendants are required after 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; Saturday after 2:00 PM; and all day Sunday.
