Congresswoman Lucile Roybal-Allard

A caseworker from the Congresswoman's office is available to assist you with the following agencies: Immigration, Internal Revenue Service, United States Postal Service, Social Security, Veteran Affairs and other Federal Issues on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Medicare Assistance (65+)

Medicare Assistance can assist you with questions or problems relating to Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicare supplements, Prescription plans, Supplemental insurance and much more. Medicare Assistance is available the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. To make an appointment or get additional information about home visits, please call (562) 904-7223.

Income Tax Assistance

Income tax preparation is offered by AARP and is conducted each Monday and Wednesday by appointment or walk-in basis between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. This service is provided February 1st – April 14th. Reservations for appointments begin in mid-January of each year by calling (562) 904-7223.

Legal Assistance

The Law Office of Carolyn Sloan provides 15 minutes of free legal advice to senior citizens on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Appointments are scheduled every 15 minutes during the two hours. PLEASE NOTE: No legal documents are drawn up at these appointments - only legal advice given.
