This Maintenance Division maintains trees, landscaping, and irrigation in City parks, public grounds, streetscapes, medians, parkways, and areas along freeway walls. Routine mowing, trimming, weeding, and trash removal are performed by contractors, as is most tree trimming on a 2–3‑year cycle. Staff handle tree trimming, removals, replanting, irrigation repairs, athletic field preparation, landscape renovations, and the installation of banners and flags.
